Beijing’s Olympic Swimming Venue Transforming Is Into A Waterpark

Construction has begun to turn the Olympic swimming venue in Beijing into a new indoor water park. They plan to open as the Happy Magic Watercube in June 2010 and claim to launch a couple first-ever attractions and to have an unique architectural design.

Disney Released Pictures New Space Mountain

Disney has recently released a couple of pictures of the almost finished Space Mountain at the Magic Kingdom park in Orlando. Disney added some games to play while waiting in line, seems like they are expecting big lines.

The Disney World will be the first who launches the new Space Mountain, but I'm pretty sure the other Magic Kingdom parks will follow.

Dutch Ride Designer Invited By Disney

The famous Dutch ride designer, Michel den Dulk, has been invited by Disney to work at the Disney headquarter in California to design new spectacular rides. The famous Disney designer Tony Baxter, designer of Big Thunder Mountain, has invited Michel den Dulk personally.

Michel has been active designing for the famous Dutch Park the Efteling but after an argument he left to design for Europe-Park in south Germany. Now he got his work permit for the USA ready and will move to California soon.

Shanghai Disneyland is Planned  for Opening in 2014

Disney has received permission from the Chinese Government for the new Theme Park on November 4, 2009. The new park will open at the Pudong district of Shanghai. No official opening date has been set, but they plan to open in 2014. The initial park build will be a Magic Kingdom style park as we are familiar with.
