New "Nickelodeon New Orleans" Theme Park Missed DeadlineThe Southern Star Amusement Co. had until Monday to deposit half a million dollars, in "good faith" money, to apply for $100 million in much needed government bonds. They failed to do this and now are unable to continue this project. Nickelodeon New Orleans was supposed to open at the Six Flags New Orleans site. Company officials say they are currently raising the needed cash and reapply for the state aid. |
