The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is a combination of a zoo, a museum and a botanical garden. This zoo has focused on species, both plants and animals, that live in the Sonora desert. The Center for Sonoran Desert Studies, which has been founded in 2005 is used for education, conservation and research. This zoo is one of the first naturalistic zoos in the united states. At this zoo they have several bird, snakes and cactus species. hey also have coyotes, bob cats, jaguarundis and ocelots.
The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum can be easily reached by car, there is a lot of free parking space available.
