Knott's Berry Farm claims to be the oldest theme park in America, according to their slogan 'America's 1st Theme Park'. They are also a manufacturer of food products and famous for their jams. Because of it's location in Buena Park they can't really expand an so the park is packed, roller coasters everywhere. The park has over 35 rides including 9 roller coasters and 4 water rides.
Every year during the Halloween season they turn the park into Knott's Halloween haunt. This is the largest Halloween event at a theme park. They started this 28 days event in 1973.
