Serengeti Park in Hodenhagen, Germany

Has seen better days..

We have visited the Serengeti-Park on June 25, 2011. I have always wanted to visit this park because many times when traveling in Germany I've seen big promotional signs and they looked very interesting. The Serengeti-Park is a safari park but it also has a big zoo where you can interact with monkeys and see white tigers. They also have a pretty decent sized amusement park.

We got coupons from our hotel which gave us 1 free admission per car. We were 4 persons so we came with 2 cars. On admission you will be asked if you want to take the bus tour or use your own car. The lady at the hotel advised us to take the bus tour because the guide will stop and tell us about the animals. They charged 3 euro per person extra for the bus tour. The regular admission was € 28,- per person but we only payed half because we got 2 free admission.

My girlfriend and I have visited the Casablanca Zoo on May 28, 2011. I am not from Morocco but I have stayed in Morocco on holiday for the entire month May. We spent an early afternoon at the zoo and have written about our experience and posted pictures for you.

You can not expect much from a zoo in Morocco. And with an entrance fee of only 2 dirham ($0,25) you can imagine this might not be happiest place on earth. Not only because how they treat animals is different but also because Moroccans in general do not like to spend money on going out to zoos and amusement parks. They rather spend their hard earned money on big parties like weddings and the Sugar Feast.

Merlin Entertainment has recently revealed detailed plans to open their second real theme park in the USA.  This will become the largest Legoland theme park in the world with over 50 rides and shows.

A brand new Ferrari themed amusement park is about to open in Abu Dhabi! This theme park will be all about fast rides as you can imagine. The new theme park will feature over 20 attractions including the worlds fastest roller coaster the Formula Rossa which accelerates up to 240km/h in just 5 seconds! The Formula Rossa will emulate the feeling of being in a Ferrari F1 car!

The Harry Potter Theme Park called Wizarding World of Harry Potter has officialy opened at the Universal Orlando resort!

On June 18 2010, early morning, the park opened and the original stars from the movie emerged from the Hogwarts Express to open the new amusement park.
